When a great catastrophe destroys the valley of Reflection Lake, four surviving spirits must journey across the great wilderness to seek a new home.

The royal cat Fyrilys Kita-Maer and her servant Windigo Kita-Rannen now travel with the canine warrior Bato Pooca-Bris and the rabbit girl Tao Buma-Rii to seek a new haven called the Hidden Shire, a vast and green valley believed to exist only in stories.
